Ultrascape Flowpoint Fine Rapid Set External Paving Grout

UltraScape Flowpoint Fine is a fast set, slurry grout that comes in a 20KG tub. This super fine, long lasting, easy apply paving grout joints from 2-50mm and has a flowable, easy pour and apply consistency, that starts to set in just 15-20 minutes. Unlike the other variations of Flowpoint – Standard, Smooth or ECO that have a visible aggregate, Flowpoint Fine has a super smooth finish with no visible aggregate, more akin to a bathroom or kitchen grout. UltraScape Flowpoint Fine can be used with natural stone, concrete flags, porcelain tiles and clay pavers.

Flowpoint Fine is ideal for paved areas and patios, where a rigid or bound void-free joint is required. Perfect for use on driveways, patios, town centre pedestrian schemes, pathways and carriageways. Used widely for projects where early trafficking is needed, it conforms to the strict demands of BS 7533.

Unlike other paving grouts, Flowpoint Fine is slurry grout, which is speedier to apply, requires less labour and is much kinder on your knees than more traditional methods. Simply mix with water, to produce a flowable mixture that is simply poured across the slabs, squeegeed into the joints, and cleaned down to reveal strong, durable, weed free joints that can last up to 40 years without needing to reapply. Flowpoint Fine can be used on joints from 2-50mm wide, and 20-200mm deep, so ideal for use on both modern large format porcelain, or more traditional sandstone or granite setts.

What is Ultrascape Flowpoint Fine?

Flowpoint Fine is a fast set, flowable, cement based paving grout that joints from just 2mm up to 20mm wide, and can accommodate depths from 20mm to 200mm deep. Loved by contractors for commercial town centre schemes, as well as by landscaping contractors installing patios and pathways in peoples homes, it’s fast to apply and conforms to the strict demands of the British Standard BS 7533. Flowpoint Fine is perfect for all paving areas where a rigid or bound void-free joint is needed, and early trafficking is required. Created with porcelain in mind, but also ideal for sandstone, limestone, granite, Indian Stone and concrete, Flowpoint Fine grout offers a professional, sleek look and smooth weed free joints – due to the extremely fine texture and high fluid consistency of the mortar. Available in both Charcoal and Natural Grey, or a single tub, or by the pallet load (40 tubs per full pallet).

• Storage: Store in a cool, dry and frost free area at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C
• Shelf life from date of manufacture printed on the bucket, unopened in the above conditions, for sealed tubs is 8 months. Please note: the use of this product after the end of the declared storage period may increase the risk of an allergic reaction.
• Please note: Flowpoint is not recommended for use with some darker limestone, such as black limestone, as it can lead to a slight oxidisation. Call our expert team if you would like further advice on the ideal grout for darker limestone.

Flowpoint Fine, hints & tips!

Be patient and don’t wash Flowpoint Fine off too soon, it is easy to get it wrong, and too many contractors wash Flowpoint off their paving slabs as the product starts to dry on the slabs. Keep the slabs damp with a mist of water, so it doesn’t set dry on them too soon. Always make sure Flowpoint Fine has set in the joints before washing it off, keep your eye on the firmness of the joint, just with a little thumb test. Once firm in the joint, then begin washing it off. We always recommend two washes, one to get the bulk of the grout off the slabs, and another to clean up any residue left behind.
